Chemically Doped Conductive Polymers for Wearable Health Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Among conductive polymers, poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), polyaniline (PANI), and polypyrrole (PPy) are the most studied and applied. Chemical doping significantly boosts intrinsic conductivity and mechanical robustness.

Deep Unsupervised Segmentation of Log Point Clouds

open access: yes
In sawmills, it is essential to accurately measure the raw material, i.e. wooden logs, to optimise the sawing process. Earlier studies have shown that accurate predictions of the inner structure of the logs can be obtained using just surface point clouds produced by a laser scanner.

Chameleonic Color‐Variable Microbead Emitters for Multilevel Spectroscopic Encryption from Visible to Infrared Wavelengths

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Whispering‐gallery‐mode microresonators with sharp resonant peaks enable photonic barcoding. Similar to a chameleon, a rare‐earth‐free microcavity with π‐conjugated PAHs enables visibleto‐near infrared color generation from a single microbead. The unique resonat emission (spectral barcode) can be dynamically transformed via excitation wavelength change,
