Adaptive Generalized-Minimum-Variance Attitude Control of a High Pointing-Accuracy Remote Sensing Satellite [PDF]
Many studies have investigated the problem of external disturbance rejection and also increasing the attitude control system's robustness against the parametric uncertainties. Due to stochastic properties, noise effect minimization becomes an interesting

Accuracy of Point Precipitation Measurements
The normal-exposed Hellmann raingauge only catches about 85% of the true precipitation on yearly basis. This is mainly due to aerodynamic effects. A statistical model analysing the ratio of the daily amounts of precipitation measured at ground level and at standard height is set up for describing this influence.

Analysis of Field of View for a Moon-Based Earth Observation Multispectral Camera
A Moon-based Earth observation multispectral camera provides a unique perspective for observing large-scale Earth phenomena. This study focuses on the analysis of the field of view (FOV) for such a sensor.

A Simplified Pointing Model for Alt-Az Telescopes
The telescope pointing model plays a crucial role in characterizing and explaining the inaccuracies in the telescope’s pointing. It uses mathematical models to express these errors and suggests methods to calibrate and rectify them.

Accuracy and Precision of a Point-of-Care HbA1c Test [PDF]
Background: Point-of-care (POC) hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) testing has advantages over laboratory testing, but some questions have remained regarding the accuracy and precision of these methods. The accuracy and the precision of the POC Afinion™ HbA1c Dx test were investigated.

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This
