Developing the composed probability model to predict household trip production (a case study of Isfahan city) [PDF]
Household trip production is not a constant parameter and vary based on socio-economic characteristics. Even households produce several numbers of trips in each category (households with constant socio-economic characteristics).

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.

Precipitation Simulations of the O‐Phase in Ti2AlNb Alloys Processed by Laser Powder Bed Fusion
Simulated and experimental evolution of the O‐phase volume fraction during postprocessing of a Ti‐21Al‐25Nb (at.%) alloy processed by laser powder bed fusion. With results of sensitivity to input parameters from a thorough and quantified analysis, the interfacial energy matrix/precipitate is the most relevant input parameter for the simulation of the O‐

Subclass of analytic functions related with Miller-Ross-type Poisson distribution series [PDF]
The purpose of the present paper is to find a necessary and sufficient condition for the Miller-Ross-type Poisson distribution series to be in the class $\mathcal{P}^{\ast}(\alpha,\beta,\gamma)$ of analytic functions with negative coefficients.

On Underdispersed Count Kernels for Smoothing Probability Mass Functions
Only a few count smoothers are available for the widespread use of discrete associated kernel estimators, and their constructions lack systematic approaches. This paper proposes the mean dispersion technique for building count kernels.

This work shows that the mechanical performance of multimaterial digital light processing (DLP) printed thermoset composites is governed by resin compatibility and interfacial design rather than spatial patterning alone. Brittle and ductile resin combinations produced premature interfacial failure, while graded interfaces and mechanically compatible ...

Properties of the entropic risk measure EVaR in relation to selected distributions
Entropic Value-at-Risk (EVaR) measure is a convenient coherent risk measure. Due to certain difficulties in finding its analytical representation, it was previously calculated explicitly only for the normal distribution.

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...
