PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

Obstacle Emergence Risk and Road Patrol Policy
The authors model the emergence processes of road obstacles, such as fallen objects on roads, the deformation and destruction of pavements, and the damage and destruction of road facilities, as counting processes.

A Bivariate Poisson-Gamma Distribution: Statistical Properties and Practical Applications
Although the specification of bivariate probability models using a collection of assumed conditional distributions is not a novel concept, it has received considerable attention in the last decade. In this study, a bivariate distribution-the bivariate Poisson-Gamma conditional distribution-is introduced, combining both univariate continuous and ...

This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

BAYESIAN ANALYSIS OF THE COMPOUND COLLECTIVE MODEL: THE NET PREMIUM PRINCIPLE WITH EXPONENTIAL POISSON AND GAMMA–GAMMA DISTRIBUTIONS [PDF]
This article develops a Bayesian analysis of the Compound Collective Model utilizing the Net Premium Principle, considering single-period models. With respect to likelihoods, we used a Poisson distribution for the number of claims and an Exponential ...

Mild Focal Cooling Decouples Dendrites to Reconfigure Cortical Output
Mild cooling of the cortical surface selectively modulates apical dendritic excitability, plasticity, and somato‐dendritic coupling, while uncoupling these effects from basal dendrites, and reshapes apical‐driven responses in barrel cortex during whisker touch.

Using Computational and Mathematical Methods to Explore a New Distribution: The ν-Poisson
A new distribution (the v-Poisson) and its conjugate density are introduced and explored using computational and mathematical methods. The v-Poisson is a two-parameter extension of the Poisson distribution that generalizes some well-known discrete ...

Simulation of cluster point processes without edge effects [PDF]
The usual direct method of simulation for cluster processes requires the generation of the parent point process over a region larger than the actual observation window, since we have to allow for all possible parents giving rise to observed daughter ...

Traction Force Microscopy for Viscoelastic Substrates: A Semi‐Analytical Method
A semi‐analytical viscoelastic traction force microscopy framework is introduced for quantifying time‐resolved cell tractions on flat finite‐thickness substrates. The method generalizes elastic traction force microscopy to Generalized Maxwell materials, identifies when elastic approximations remain valid and, when they do not, shows that inferred ...
