Poisson Geometry Related to Atiyah Sequences [PDF]
We construct and investigate a short exact sequence of Poisson $\mathcal{VB}$-groupoids which is canonically related to the Atiyah sequence of a $G$-principal bundle $P$. Our results include a description of the structure of the symplectic leaves of the Poisson groupoid $\frac{T^*P\times T^*P}{G}\rightrightarrows \frac{T^*P}{G}$. The semidirect product

On computational Poisson geometry II: Numerical methods
<p style='text-indent:20px;'>We present twelve numerical methods for evaluation of objects and concepts from Poisson geometry. We describe how each method works with examples, and explain how it is executed in code. These include methods that evaluate Hamiltonian and modular vector fields, compute the image under the coboundary and trace ...

Functional Poisson approximation in Kantorovich-Rubinstein distance with applications to U-statistics and stochastic geometry [PDF]
A Poisson or a binomial process on an abstract state space and a symmetric function $f$ acting on $k$-tuples of its points are considered. They induce a point process on the target space of $f$.

Holomorphic Poisson Cohomology
Holomorphic Poisson structures arise naturally in the realm of generalized geometry. A holomorphic Poisson structure induces a deformation of the complex structure in a generalized sense, whose cohomology is obtained by twisting the Dolbeault @-operator ...

The Hitchin Model, Poisson-quasi-Nijenhuis Geometry and Symmetry Reduction
We revisit our earlier work on the AKSZ formulation of topological sigma model on generalized complex manifolds, or Hitchin model. We show that the target space geometry geometry implied by the BV master equations is Poisson--quasi--Nijenhuis geometry ...

Energy-efficient power scheduling and allocation scheme for wireless sensor networks
The focus in this paper is on coverage energy-efficient of WSN (wireless sensor networks). Communication path lengths of a randomly distributed BSs and sensor nodes field are characterized by distance distributions.

Poisson geometry and the Kashiwara–Vergne conjecture [PDF]
We give a Poisson-geometric proof of the Kashiwara–Vergne conjecture for quadratic Lie algebras, based on the equivariant Moser trick.

Hamiltonian Dynamics of Classical Spins
We discuss the geometry behind the classical Heisenberg model at the level suitable for third- or fourth-year students who did not have the opportunity to take a course on differential geometry.

An Underactuated Drift-Free Left Invariant Control System on a Specific Lie Group
The paper presents a geometrical overview on an optimal control problem on a special Lie group. The Hamilton-Poisson realization of the dynamics offers us the possibility to study the system from mechanical geometry point of view.
