Holomorphic Poisson Cohomology
Holomorphic Poisson structures arise naturally in the realm of generalized geometry. A holomorphic Poisson structure induces a deformation of the complex structure in a generalized sense, whose cohomology is obtained by twisting the Dolbeault @-operator ...

Hamiltonian Dynamics of Classical Spins
We discuss the geometry behind the classical Heisenberg model at the level suitable for third- or fourth-year students who did not have the opportunity to take a course on differential geometry.

An Underactuated Drift-Free Left Invariant Control System on a Specific Lie Group
The paper presents a geometrical overview on an optimal control problem on a special Lie group. The Hamilton-Poisson realization of the dynamics offers us the possibility to study the system from mechanical geometry point of view.

Poisson Geometry Related to Atiyah Sequences [PDF]
We construct and investigate a short exact sequence of Poisson $\mathcal{VB}$-groupoids which is canonically related to the Atiyah sequence of a $G$-principal bundle $P$. Our results include a description of the structure of the symplectic leaves of the Poisson groupoid $\frac{T^*P\times T^*P}{G}\rightrightarrows \frac{T^*P}{G}$. The semidirect product

Quadratic Poisson algebras on k[x, y, z]and their automorphisms
One of the important directions in modern mathematics is applications of Poisson structures and to various problems of mathematics and theoretical mechanics. These problems arise in dynamics of a rigid body, the celestial mechanics, the theory of curls,

Energy-efficient power scheduling and allocation scheme for wireless sensor networks
The focus in this paper is on coverage energy-efficient of WSN (wireless sensor networks). Communication path lengths of a randomly distributed BSs and sensor nodes field are characterized by distance distributions.

Poisson Geometry with a 3-Form Background [PDF]
We study a modification of Poisson geometry by a closed 3-form. Just as for ordinary Poisson structures, these "twisted" Poisson structures are conveniently described as Dirac structures in suitable Courant algebroids. The additive group of 2-forms acts on twisted Poisson structures and permits them to be seen as glued from ordinary Poisson structures ...

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Poisson Doubly Warped Product Manifolds
This article generalizes some geometric structures on warped product manifolds equipped with a Poisson structure to doubly warped products of pseudo-Riemannian manifolds equipped with a doubly warped Poisson structure.
