High-Altitude Particle Acceleration and Radiation in Pulsar Slot Gaps
We explore the pulsar slot gap electrodynamics up to very high altitudes, where for most relatively rapidly rotating pulsars both the standard small-angle approximation and the assumption that the magnetic field lines are ideal stream lines break down ...

ABSTRACT Breathable membranes that reject chemical warfare agents (CWAs) are required for next‐generation protective apparel. A dual‐function graphene oxide (GO)‐polyamine architecture is introduced that addresses the long‐standing tradeoff between vapor transmission and CWA selectivity.

Polar cap auroras were measured at Thule Air Base, Greenland in December 1979, using an all sky imaging photometer. These images combined with digital ionosonde measurements, show the orientation, structure, and drift motion of sun‐aligned, F layer auroras. Drifts in both the dawn‐to‐dusk and dusk‐to‐dawn direction were observed. These auroras were not

Tissue Engineered Human Elastic Cartilage From Primary Auricular Chondrocytes for Ear Reconstruction
Despite over three decades of research, no tissue‐engineered solution for auricular reconstruction in microtia patients has reached clinical translation. The key challenge lies in generating functional elastic cartilage ex vivo. Here, we integrate synergistic cell‐biomaterial strategies to engineer auricular grafts with mechanical and histological ...

Effects of Molecular Designs and Double‐Network Morphologies for Bioadhesive Semiconductors
This study establishes molecular‐to‐mesoscale design rules for bioadhesive semiconducting polymers (BASCs). It identifies how side‐chain length, double‐network formation, and film thickness modulate adhesion strength and electronic performance, providing insight into the rational design of intrinsically adhesive semiconductors for stable and efficient ...
