Wave Tracing: Generalizing The Path Integral To Wave Optics
Abstract Modeling the wave nature of light and the propagation and diffraction of electromagnetic fields is crucial for the accurate simulation of many phenomena, yet wave simulations are significantly more computationally complex than classical ray‐based models.

Optimization of the contrast in polarimetric scalar images [PDF]
We consider active polarimetric imaging systems that illuminate a scene with an incident polarization state and project the backscattered light on another polarization state in order to produce a scalar intensity image. We present and analyze a method for determining the configuration of illumination and analysis polarization states that maximizes the ...

Hyperspectral tomographic diffractive microscopy: Development and applications
Abstract Tomographic Diffractive Microscopy (TDM) provides label‐free three‐dimensional imaging of transparent samples with resolution surpassing confocal limits. At IRIMAS, successive instrumental developments since 2009 have enhanced TDM capabilities through transmission, reflection, isotropic, polarisation‐sensitive, and dual‐view configurations ...

Decoding THz‐Driven Dynamic Fingerprints of Ferroelectric Nanotwin Networks
ABSTRACT Ultrafast polarization dynamics in ferroelectrics are of considerable interest for high‐speed tunable dielectrics and electro‐optics. Extended domain wall networks formed in ferroelectric twin nanodomains can support collective dynamics in the terahertz regime but require techniques that track polarization and strain evolution driven by ...

On the Detection of Low‐Frequency Planetary Radio Emission With an Orbiting Interferometer
Abstract The magnetized planets of the outer Solar System produce kilometric radio emissions at very low frequencies (<1 ${< } 1\,$MHz). They reveal the planetary magnetic dynamics and their interaction with the solar wind. Those radio emissions can also serve as a proxy for interplanetary space weather monitoring.
