State-of-the-Art and Perspectives on Silicon Waveguide Crossings: A Review
In the past few decades, silicon photonics has witnessed a ramp-up of investment in both research and industry. As a basic building block, silicon waveguide crossing is inevitable for dense silicon photonic integrated circuits and efficient crossing ...

ABSTRACT Liver metastasis is a leading cause of mortality in colorectal cancer (CRC), where the inflammatory tumor microenvironment, specifically neutrophil infiltration, significantly promotes metastatic colonization. This study reveals a pro‐metastatic role for alpha‐1 antitrypsin (A1AT) in CRC liver metastasis via a dual mechanism involving ...

Four Wave Mixing-Based Time Lens for Orthogonal Polarized Input Signals
We present highly efficient time-lenses for orthogonal polarized signal waves with a specific state of polarization. Our four-wave mixing based time-lenses exploit polarization mode dispersion to compensate for chromatic dispersion.

RBM10 deficiency promotes anti‐PD‐1 resistance in lung adenocarcinoma by altering STING alternative splicing, which enhances CCL7 secretion and CCR2‐dependent M2 macrophage polarization. A positive feedback loop via mitochondrial transfer sustains this immunosuppression.

This study identifies S100A14 in tumor‐derived exosomes as a key driver of brain metastasis. S100A14 targets PIAS3 in astrocytes, activating STAT3 signaling and promoting immunosuppressive MDSCs recruitment via chemokine secretion. Germacrone, a natural compound, binds S100A14 to disrupt this axis, effectively inhibiting brain metastasis with low ...

Strong Anisotropy of Multilayer γ‐InSe‐Enabled Polarization Division Multiplexing Photodetection
Polarized light detection is consequential for optical communication and polarized light imaging. InSe is considered a promising candidate for narrow‐bandgap photodetector. However, monolayer γ‐InSe is an indirect bandgap semiconductor and is ignored for

ABSTRACT Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) remains a leading cause of cancer mortality with limited therapeutic options. Disulfidptosis, a novel cell death modality driven by disulfide stress, represents a promising target, yet its regulation in LUAD is poorly defined. Here, we identify Pannexin 2 (PANX2) as a tumor suppressor in LUAD.
