Dispersionful analogues of Benney's equations and $N$-wave systems

open access: yes, 1995
We recall Krichever's construction of additional flows to Benney's hierarchy, attached to poles at finite distance of the Lax operator. Then we construct a ``dispersionful'' analogue of this hierarchy, in which the role of poles at finite distance is ...

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

CONTRIBUTIONS ON OPTIMIZING THE LEARNING OF SPECIFIC CONTENTS OF THE VIth GRADE HANDBALL GAME [PDF]

open access: yesAnnals of the “Ştefan cel Mare” University: Physical Education and Sport Section - The Science and Art of Movement, 2020
In the physical education class, handball appears as a sports game, being practiced by both girls and boys, its popularity being equal among students. Due to the fact that it is an accessible game, regarding the materials and work surface, handball is

Effects of Dietary Selenium, Sulphur and Copper Levels on Selenium Concentration in the Serum and Liver of Lamb [PDF]

open access: yesAsian-Australasian Journal of Animal Sciences, 2014
Thirty-two lambs were distributed in eight treatments under 2×2×2 factorial experiment to compare the effects of two levels of selenium (0.2 to 5 mg/kg dry matter [DM]), sulphur (0.25% and 0.37%) and copper (8 and 25 mg/kg DM) levels on selenium ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Computer program provides linear sampled- data analysis for high order systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 1967
Computer program performs transformations in the order S-to W-to Z to allow arithmetic to be completed in the W-plane. The method is based on a direct transformation from the S-plane to the W-plane.

Scattering in plane-wave backgrounds: infra-red effects and pole structure

open access: yes, 2012
We consider two aspects of scattering in strong plane wave backgrounds. First, we show that the infra-red divergences in elastic scattering depend on the structure of the background, but can be removed using the usual Bloch-Nordsieck approach. Second, we

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.
