An 81-year-old Polish gentleman underwent emergency repair of a leaking abdominal aortic aneurysm with a straight-woven Dacron graft. A large left-sided retroperitoneal hacmatoma was noted at that time. Eight days post-operatively, he developed a pyrexia and left-sided abdominal tenderness.
