A State‐Adaptive Koopman Control Framework for Real‐Time Deformable Tool Manipulation in Robotic Environmental Swabbing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

Expectations, Learning and Monetary Policy: An Overview of Recent Research [PDF]

open access: yes
Expectations about the future are central for determination of current macroeconomic outcomes and the formulation of monetary policy. Recent literature has explored ways for supplementing the benchmark of rational expectations with explicit models of ...

ChicGrasp: Imitation‐Learning‐Based Customized Dual‐Jaw Gripper Control for Manipulation of Delicate, Irregular Bio‐Products

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...

THE OMC IN THE EUROPEAN EMPLOYMENT POLICY: BRINGING SOCIALISATION IN [PDF]

open access: yesCES Working Papers, 2011
This paper argues in favour of a more thorough analysis of a specific set of dynamics taking place in the Open Method of Coordination (OMC), the latter being conceived as an informal organizational framework aimed at mutual learning (de Burca and Zeitlin,

Too conspicuous to fail: Copenhagen’s urban redevelopment and obstacles to sustainable city policy learning [PDF]

open access: yesPresent Environment and Sustainable Development
In the face of global problems, efforts are being made to construct sustainable city role models. However, the very proliferation of self-proclaimed exemplars of sustainable urbanism over the past decades suggests that planners and decisionmakers still ...

Data‐Driven Bulldozer Blade Control for Autonomous Terrain Leveling

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A simulation‐driven framework for autonomous bulldozer leveling is presented, combining high‐fidelity terramechanics simulation with a neural‐network‐based reduced‐order model. Gradient‐based optimization enables efficient, low‐level blade control that balances leveling quality and operation time.

Cross‐Scale Hierarchical Targeted Delivery System Based on Small‐Scale Magnetic Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article reviews a cross‐scale hierarchical targeted delivery system that integrates magnetic continuum robots and magnetic microrobots. By combining rapid long‐range navigation with precise microscale targeting, the system overcomes key limitations of single‐scale approaches.
