Trustworthy Inverse Molecular Design via Alignment with Molecular Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Data‐driven inverse molecular design (IMD) is a promising approach to discovering new molecules with desired properties. Despite the remarkable progress, existing IMD methods lag behind in terms of trustworthiness, as indicated by their misalignment with the ground‐truth function that models the molecular dynamics.

Pyruvate Carboxylase in Macrophages Aggravates Atherosclerosis by Regulating Metabolism Reprogramming to Promote Inflammatory Responses Through the Hypoxia‐Inducible Factor‐1 Signaling Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates the role of macrophage pyruvate carboxylase (PC) in atherosclerosis (AS) demonstrating that PC upregulation in macrophages promotes metabolism reprogramming to enhance inflammatory responses via the HIF‐1 signaling pathway.

Semaphorin 3E‐Plexin‐D1 Pathway Downstream of the Luteinizing Hormone Surge Regulates Ovulation, Granulosa Cell Luteinization, and Ovarian Angiogenesis in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Semaphorin 3E (Sema3E)‐Plexin‐D1 pathway mediated by C/EBPα and C/EBPβ downstream of the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge plays important roles in the mouse preovulatory ovary. Timely activation and suppression of this pathway during the preovulatory stage are crucial for ovulation, corpus luteum formation, and proper angiogenesis.
