Potential for the American toad (Anaxyrus americanus) to contribute to biological control in a vegetable agroecosystem

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract The American toad (Anaxyrus americanus) is a native insectivorous amphibian common in agricultural fields in eastern North America. Past research on this and related species suggests potential for positive or negative effects on pest populations, depending on the prevalence of intraguild predation.

Entropy Profiling of Hard Carbon/Na Metal Cells with Stepwise Temperature Changes: Influence of the Sodiation Kinetics on the Cell Voltage Response

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2026.
The cell reaction entropy of hard carbon/Na metal cells at different states of charge was derived from the cell voltage variation caused by stepwise temperature changes. The magnitude of the cell reaction entropy indicated complete desolvation of the sodium ions upon the sodiation of hard carbon.

Affect Labeling During Pictorial Encoding Enhances Their Recognition and Reduces Amygdalar Responses to Negative Pictures

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, Volume 16, Issue 3, March 2026.
Our study suggests that affect labeling during encoding of negative stimuli decreases amygdalar activations during recognition of those stimuli. ABSTRACT Introduction Affect labeling, which entails identifying the emotional content of an event, is a critical strategy for implicit emotion regulation.

Next Generation Flow and Next Generation Sequencing for Measurable Residual Disease Assessment in Multiple Myeloma Patients: A Real‐Life Italian Multicenter Harmonization Experience

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The level of measurable residual disease (MRD) is one of the most important features correlating depths of response and long‐term outcomes in multiple myeloma (MM) and MRD evaluation is currently the gold standard tool for assessing treatment response.

L’impact de la COVID‐19 sur l’expérience client en magasin

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Administrative Sciences / Revue Canadienne des Sciences de l'Administration, Volume 43, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Customer experience, a key concept in marketing, consists of five dimensions (sensory, emotional, cognitive, behavioural and social) that can allow consumers to have a unique and pleasant experience. However, the COVID‐19 pandemic has significantly altered these dimensions and thus transformed the consumer's in‐store experience.
