Висвітлено результати досліджень накопичення 137Сs і 90Sr різними видами макроміцетів у радіоактивно забруднених лісових екосистемах Полісся. Серед досліджених трофічних груп грибів значними є рівні акумуляції цих радіонуклідів представниками симбіотрофних видів з родин Сortinariaceae, Russulaceae, Boletaceae і Paxillaceae.
