Frequency of consumption of different fish, crustacean and mollusc species contributing to methylmercury exposure and consumer awareness of national advice on their consumption

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 24, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Following a request of the European Commission, EFSA assessed fish and other seafood consumption patterns and consumer awareness of related health risks and benefits across the 27 Member States, Iceland and Norway. BF2 Complexes of N‐arylated 1‐amino‐anthraquinone, ‐xanthone, ‐thioxanthone, and Related Compounds: Synthesis and Properties

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 2, January 16, 2026.
Syntheses of BF2 complexes of 1‐(arylamino)anthraquinones and related compounds are developed and their properties studied. The physical properties of anthraquinones can be modulated by the introduction of arylamino groups next to the carbonyl function.

Removal of Methylene Blue From Contaminated Water Using Eco‐Friendly Cross‐Linked Chitosan/Organomodified Montmorillonite Nanohydrogels

open access: yesMicro &Nano Letters, Volume 21, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Cross‐linked chitosan/organomodified montmorillonite nanohydrogels were green‐synthesised in varying ratios and characterised using FT‐IR, SEM–EDX, BET, TGA and DSC, confirming successful intercalation and enhanced thermal stability. Among the formulations, Cro‐Cs1/Org‐Mt1 showed the highest water absorption and a surface area of 5.51 m2/g.

Notions d'hydro-écologie et de qualité biologique des eaux courantes

open access: yesSciences, Eaux & Territoires, 2003
Après le rappel de quelques fondements en écologie des eaux douces, (paramètres physico-chimique, notion de trophie, expression biologique synthétique des milieux), les principales conséquences écologiques de la pollution ont été abordées.

Boundary exchange and benthic fluxes drive trace element cycling in North Pacific marginal seas

open access: yesLimnology and Oceanography, Volume 70, Issue 12, Page 3663-3680, December 2025.
Abstract Trace elements are essential micronutrients for primary producers in the ocean, supporting vital metabolic functions. However, their behavior in the northwestern Pacific remains unknown. This study investigated the behavior and benthic fluxes of Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, and Cd in the East/Japan Sea and the Yellow Sea.
