Dexime: A Selectively Enzyme‐Degradable Hydrogel for Protein Therapeutic Release

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A dextrin‐oxime hydrogel (dexime) is produced using ketone or aldehyde modified dextrin and tetra‐oxyamine modified poly(ethylene glycol). The rheological and mechanical properties of dexime are tunable. Dexime is injectable, cytocompatible, hydrolytically stable, and selectively degradable by α‐amylase.

Polyphosphates as Inhibitors for Poly(vinyl Chloride) Photodegradation

open access: yesMolecules, 2017
Three polyphosphates were used as inhibitors for poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) photodegradation. The polyphosphates were added to PVC at a concentration of 0.5% by weight. The PVC films (40 µm thickness) were irradiated at room temperature with ultraviolet (

The Effect of Cesium Chloride on Thermal Properties of Poly (Vinyl Alcohol) [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2016
Poly (vinyl alcohol), PVA for short, films doped with different concentrations of cesium chloride(CsCl) (0% , 2% , 4% , 6% , 8% , 10% , 12% , 14% ,16% ) were prepared by solution casting method to study the effect of this salt on thermal properties of ...

Bubble Formation Control: Fabrication of Centimeter‐Sized Tissue‐Like Constructs by Catalase‐Coated Oxygen‐Releasing Hydrogel

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen‐releasing hydrogels are widely used to support cell survival in 3D cultures and to promote wound healing. However, incorporating catalase to convert H2O2 into O2 often generates additional oxygen bubbles, leading to material instability which rarely addressed.

Leaf‐Inspired Eutectic Skin With Extreme Fatigue Resistance and Robust Wet Adhesion for Amphibious Epidermal Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Inspired by Acorus calamus leaves, a heterogeneous eutectic skin integrates an aligned fibrous network within a hydrophobic eutectogel matrix. This hierarchical architecture triggers strain‐induced crystallization to achieve exceptional mechanical toughness and durable wet adhesion.

Double‐Sided Mechanical Interlocking Enables Soft‐Rigid Conductive Interfaces With a Record High Toughness for Flexible Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A double‐sided mechanical interlocking strategy is developed to create robust electrical contact between polymer electrode and metal interconnect. The fibrous structure enables formation of thread–hole adhesion, which only breaks under bulk failure and achieves a record high interfacial energy exceeding 730 J·m−2. This adhesion secures the integrity of

Emulsion copolymerization of vinyl chloride with poly (ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate

open access: yesDesigned Monomers and Polymers, 2023
In this work, we reported a novel emulsion copolymerization of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) with amphipathic monomer poly (ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate (PEGMA) by using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as emulsifier and K2S2O8/NaHSO3 as redox ...
