Nanodiamond‐Infused Microgels for pH‐Tunable Rheology, Lubrication, and UV Protection
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Microgels consisting of swollen polyacrylic acid polymer networks, impregnated with nanodiamonds provide protection from ultraviolet (UV) radiation harmful to human health. Nanodiamonds enable UV blockage and control of the rheology (flow) and lubrication (skin‐feel) of these microgel‐skincare‐mimics.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A scalable nano‐/micro‐confinement strategy is developed, where polyacrylamide (PAM)‐LiCl hybrid desiccants are confined within hollow nanoparticles (HNPs) and assembled into raspberry‐like microbeads. The beads have a hydrogel‐rich core and an NP‐rich shell for fast absorption and desorption, releasing water 13.6 L kg⁻¹ day⁻¹.

A Robust Dual‐mode Self‐Monitoring Battery Thermal Management System via Bilayer Structural Design
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.An adaptive dual‐mode material capable of both evaporative cooling and photothermal preheating is developed. It achieves a cooling efficiency of 53.9%, surpassing existing evaporative cooling counterparts, and a self‐monitoring capability, making it ideal for electric vehicles, portable electronics, and grid‐scale energy storage.
