Abstract A dynamic gas saturation technique was used to measure the solid-phase vapor pressures (pSo) of six polychlorinated dibenzodioxins (PCDDs) and seven polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) at 25°C. Three polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (phenanthrene, anthracene, and chrysene) were also examined to validate the method.

Emissions of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins and Dibenzofurans (PCDD/PCDFs) in Iran

The aim of this study was estimation of PCDD/PCDFs emissions from various sources in Iran. The results indicated total PCDD/PCDFs emissions in Iran in 2010, was 1,957 g TEQ. Of this amount, about 705.8, 0.5, 463.5, 144.1 and 643.2 g TEQ/year was released to air, water, land, products, and in residues, respectively.

A new method of predicting of gas chromatographic retention indices for polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs)

A new method has been developed to describe the quantitative relationship between molecular structures of PCDFs and their gas chromatographic retention indices on a 30-m fused silica column coated with DB-5 stationary phase.
