Direct Growth of Transparent Boron Nitride Neutron Shielding Layer for Space Window
Direct growth of sp2‐sp3 hybridized BN (HBN) on quartz, enabled by an h‐BN buffer, produces transparent and stable films up to 80 µm thick with high transmittance and strong neutron shielding, making HBN a promising candidate for space windows in long‐term lunar missions.

Pressure‐Induced Structural and Magnetic Evolution in Layered Antiferromagnet YbMn2Sb2
Pressure tunes the delicate balance between structure, magnetism, and electronic states in quantum materials. In YbMn2Sb2, high‐pressure X‐ray and neutron diffraction reveal a trigonal‐to‐monoclinic transition near 3.5 GPa, accompanied by unconventional magnetic ordering.

Melting of B12P2 boron subphosphide under pressure
Melting of boron subphosphide (B12P2) to 26 GPa has been studied by in situ synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction in a laser-heated diamond anvil cell, and by quenching and electrical resistance measurements in a toroid-type high-pressure apparatus. B12P2

Application of Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride for Cutting Tools.
Polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (pcBN) materials, which are produced by sintering cBN powder and binder material under ultra-high pressure and temperature conditions, have so high hardness, high thermal conductivity and very weak affinity for ferrous metals that pcBN has been used for cutting ferrous metals such as hardened steel, cast iron, powder

We discovered novel materials with giant dielectric constants by combining first‐principles phonon calculations and machine learning. Screening 525 perovskites identified six candidates. RbNbO3 was synthesized under pressure and showed ε ≈ 800–1000. This validates our framework as a powerful tool for high‐performance dielectric materials discovery.

Photoluminescence of hexagonal boron nitride: effect of surface oxidation under UV-laser irradiation
We report on the UV laser induced fluorescence of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) following nanosecond laser irradiation of the surface under vacuum and in different environments of nitrogen gas and ambient air.
