Polycystic kidney and Down Syndrome

Perfusion Pressures and Weight Loss During Normothermic Machine Perfusion of Human Donor Livers
Normothermic machine perfusion is used to preserve and assess donor livers before transplantation. Nevertheless, it can lead to reduced liver weight, which might be masked by edema when high perfusion pressures are used. Therefore, we encourage using the lowest pressures possible to reach adequate flows and oxygen supply during perfusion.
