Phosphorus Contamination in Polyethylene Glycol [PDF]
Concentrations of Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Ca, Mg, K, and P were examined in untreated and ion exchange resin-treated solutions of polyethylene glycol, molecular weight 3000 to 3700, polyethylene glycol (PEG 4000). Relatively high levels of P were found in untreated PEF-4000 solutions.

Biodegradative mechanism of the brown rot basidiomycete Gloeophyllum trabeum: evidence for an extracellular hydroquinone-driven fenton reaction [PDF]
We have identified key components of the extracellular oxidative system that the brown rot fungus Gloeophyllum trabeum uses to degrade a recalcitrant polymer, polyethylene glycol, via hydrogen abstraction reactions. G.

Fast Ion Transport Pathway Provided by Polyethylene Glycol Confined in Covalent Organic Frameworks.
Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with well-tailored channels are able to accommodate ions and offer their conduction pathway. However, due to strong Coulombic interaction and the lack of transport medium, directly including lithium salts into the ...

Protein crystallization and structure determination at room temperature in the CrystalChip
This protocol describes the implementation of a simple and user‐friendly microfluidic device called CrystalChip that allows the production of crystals by the counter‐diffusion method and their in situ analysis by serial crystallography. As an illustration, it is applied to determine the 3D structure of three proteins from data collected at room ...
