A fully edible wheat bran–algae substrate is fabricated through scalable mould‐compression and spray‐coating, enabling robust, food‐grade platforms for sustainable electronics. A chitosan barrier improves water resistance and ink compatibility, while activated‐carbon conductive films form uniform electrodes with Ohmic behaviour.

Production of polyhydroxyalkanoates: the future green materials of choice
Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) have recently been the focus of attention as a biodegradable and biocompatible substitute for conventional non degradable plastics. The cost of large-scale production of these polymers has inhibited its widespread use.

Biodegradation Behavior of Polyhydroxyalkanoates on the Territory of Vietnam and Central Siberia [PDF]
For the first time, PHA biodegradation was studied in microecosystems situated in different regions and under different climate conditions. The study showed that the time necessary for the polymer weight to decrease to a half of its initial weight, could
