From Single to Multi‐Glass/Ceramic Microarchitectures via Two‐Photon Lithography

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Two‐photon lithography enables precise oxide microarchitectures. A transition is made from single to multi‐glass/ceramic materials by integrating spatially varied compositions via fluidic photoresin exchange. Low‐temperature annealing and optical characterization (i.e., cathodoluminescence, fluorescence microscopy) reveal how post‐treatment affects the

Secondary Coordination Sphere‐Directed Design of Thermo‐Responsive and Bright Luminescent Manganese(II) Complexes

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Luminescent manganese(II) complexes with modified secondary coordination spheres exhibit remarkably high emission quantum yields and distinct chromic behavior. The introduction of steric and functional groups enhances emission efficiency and enables temperature dependent emission color changes through reversible intramolecular interactions in the ...

State‐of‐the‐Art Solar Blind and X‐Ray Photodetectors Based on Gallium Oxide

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
State‐of‐the‐art Ga2O3‐based solar‐blind UV and X‐ray photodetectors (PDs) are reviewed. Benchmark plots compare responsivity versus specific detectivity for UV PDs (photoconductors, photovoltaic, Schottky, heterojunction, avalanche, and phototransistor types) and sensitivity versus response time for X‐ray detectors based on Ga2O3 bulk crystals, thin ...

Proving Optical Anisotropy and Polarization Effects in β‐Ga2O3$\left(\text{Ga}\right)_{2} \left(\text{O}\right)_{3}$ Nanomembranes via X‐Ray Excited Optical Luminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
In this study, the pronounced anisotropy in the optical properties of β‐Ga2O3 nanomembranes has been analized under a synchrotron nanoprobe. We have investigated the site‐specific contributions of distint Ga ions to the emission bands by combining polarization‐dependent X‐ray absorption near‐edge structure and X‐ray excited luminescence.
