Photonics of Topological Magnetic Textures
Localized noncollinear magetic textures imprint their geometry and topology onto traversing photonic fields endowing them with orbital angular‐momentum, chirality, and magnetoelectric densities. Abstract Topological textures in magnetically ordered materials are an important case studies for fundamental research with promising applications in data ...

The Sidon constant for homogeneous polynomials
The Sidon constant for the index set of nonzero m-homogeneous polynomials P in n complex variables is the supremum of the ratio between the l^1 norm of the coefficients of P and the supremum norm of P in D^n. We present an estimate which gives the right order of magnitude for this constant, modulo a factor depending exponentially on m.

Irrationality of growth constants associated with polynomial recursions
We consider integer sequences that satisfy a recursion of the form $x_{n+1} = P(x_n)$ for some polynomial $P$ of degree $d > 1$. If such a sequence tends to infinity, then it satisfies an asymptotic formula of the form $x_n \sim A α^{d^n}$, but little can be said about the constant $α$.

A graphene‐based bowtie plasmonic nanotweezer is designed and optimized using particle swarm optimization and transfer matrix analysis. The structure achieves strong field confinement, delivering trapping forces up to 6 nN W−1 for 10 nm bioparticles with sixfold lower power requirements than conventional designs.

Polynomial progressions in topological fields
Let $P_1, \ldots , P_m \in \mathbb {K}[\mathrm {y}]$ be polynomials with distinct degrees, no constant terms and coefficients in a general local field $\mathbb {K}$ . We give a quantitative count of the number of polynomial progressions $

Compliant Pneumatic Feet with Real‐Time Stiffness Adaptation for Humanoid Locomotion
A compliant pneumatic foot with real‐time variable stiffness enables humanoid robots to adapt to changing terrains. Using onboard vision and pressure control, the foot modulates stiffness within each gait cycle, reducing impact forces and improving balance. The design, cast in soft silicone with embedded air chambers and Kevlar wrapping, offers durable,

This study explores how information processing is distributed between brains and bodies through a codesign approach. Using the “backpropagation through soft body” framework, brain–body coupling agents are developed and analyzed across several tasks in which output is generated through the agents’ physical dynamics.
