Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

A family of planar differential systems with hyperbolic algebraic limit cycles

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
In this paper, we characterize a family of planar polynomial differential systems of degree greater or equal than $n+1$, by presenting polynomial curves of degree $n,$ which generally contain closed components.

On the reflective function of polynomial differential system

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2003
The author investigates the planar differential system \[ \begin{aligned} \dot{x} &=P(t,x,y):=a(t,x)+b(t,x)y+c(t,x)y^2,\\ \dot{y} &=Q(t,x,y):=e(t,x)+f(t,x)y+g(t,x)y^2, \end{aligned} \tag{1} \] with continuously differentiable coefficients by the method of reflective functions (RF). The theory of RF was established in 1986 by \textit{V. I.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Integrability problems for two classes of polynomial differential systems

open access: yes上海师范大学学报. 自然科学版, 2013
This paper, using pseudo-division algorithm, introduces a method for computing singular point values of a class of complex polynomial differential systems, establishes the necessary and sufficient conditions for integrability of two classes of complex ...

New Exploration of Phase Portrait Classification of Quadratic Polynomial Differential Systems Based on Invariant Theory

open access: yesAppliedMath
After linear differential systems in the plane, the easiest systems are quadratic polynomial differential systems in the plane. Due to their nonlinearity and their many applications, these systems have been studied by many authors.

Construction of Special Solutions for Nonintegrable Systems

open access: yes, 2006
The Painleve test is very useful to construct not only the Laurent series solutions of systems of nonlinear ordinary differential equations but also the elliptic and trigonometric ones. The standard methods for constructing the elliptic solutions consist

Polynomial and rational first integrals for planar quasi--homogeneous polynomial differential systems

open access: yesDiscrete & Continuous Dynamical Systems - A, 2013
In this paper we find necessary and sufficient conditions in order that a planar quasi-homogeneous polynomial differential system has a polynomial or a rational first integral. We also prove that any planar quasi-homogeneous polynomial differential system can be transformed into a differential system of the form u˙ = uf(v), ˙v = g(v) with f(v) and g(v)
