Fundamental Challenges, Physical Implementations, and Integration Strategies for Ising Machines in Large‐Scale Optimization Tasks

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Ising machines are emerging as specialized hardware solvers for computationally hard optimization problems. This review examines five major platforms—digital CMOS, analog CMOS, emerging devices, coherent optics, and quantum systems—highlighting physics‐rooted advantages and shared bottlenecks in scalability and connectivity.

Linear type global centers of cubic Hamiltonian systems symmetric with respect to the x-axis

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2020
A polynomial differential system of degree 2 has no global centers (that is, centers defined in all the plane except the fixed point). In this paper we characterize the global centers of cubic Hamiltonian systems symmetric with respect to the x-axis ...

Polynomial constants of motion for Calogero-type systems in three dimensions

open access: yes, 2010
We give an explicit and concise formula for higher-degree polynomial first integrals of a family of Calogero-type Hamiltonian systems in dimension three. These first integrals, together with the already known ones, prove the maximal superintegrability of

Exceptional Antimodes in Multi‐Drive Cavity Magnonics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Driven‐dissipative cavity‐magnonics provides a flexible platform for engineering non‐Hermitian physics such as exceptional points. Here, using a four‐port, three‐mode system with controllable microwave interference, antimodes and coherent perfect extinction (CPE) are realized, enabling active tuning to antimode exceptional points.

The Solution of the Extended 16th Hilbert Problem for Some Classes of Piecewise Differential Systems

open access: yesMathematics
The limit cycles have a main role in understanding the dynamics of planar differential systems, but their study is generally challenging. In the last few years, there has been a growing interest in researching the limit cycles of certain classes of ...

Symplectic Foliation Structures of Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics as Dissipation Model: Application to Metriplectic Nonlinear Lindblad Quantum Master Equation

open access: yesEntropy, 2022
The idea of a canonical ensemble from Gibbs has been extended by Jean-Marie Souriau for a symplectic manifold where a Lie group has a Hamiltonian action.

Factorization Machine‐Based Active Learning for Functional Materials Design with Optimal Initial Data

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This work investigates the optimal initial data size for surrogate‐based active learning in functional material optimization. Using factorization machine (FM)‐based quadratic unconstrained binary optimization (QUBO) surrogates and averaged piecewise linear regression, we show that adequate initial data accelerates convergence, enhances efficiency, and ...

Digital-analog quantum computation with arbitrary two-body Hamiltonians

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Digital-analog quantum computing is a computational paradigm which employs an analog Hamiltonian resource together with single-qubit gates to reach universality.

The Poisson bracket compatible with the classical reflection equation algebra

open access: yes, 2007
We introduce a family of compatible Poisson brackets on the space of $2\times 2$ polynomial matrices, which contains the reflection equation algebra bracket.

Comparison of DeePMD, MTP, GAP, ACE and MACE Machine‐Learned Potentials for Radiation‐Damage Simulations: A User Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
The authors evaluated six machine‐learned interatomic potentials for simulating threshold displacement energies and tritium diffusion in LiAlO2 essential for tritium production. Trained on the same density functional theory data and benchmarked against traditional models for accuracy, stability, displacement energies, and cost, Moment Tensor Potential ...
