On Harmonic Polynomial Interpolation

open access: yes, 2006
We show here that the methods of Lh-potential theory, developed in [Z1, Z5, Z6], are applicable to the problem of interpolation by harmonic polynomials in Rn. The connection between the rate of convergence of interpo- lational polynomials for a given continuous function on a compact set K Rn and the range of its harmonic extension is investigated ...

On the Behavior of Two C1 Finite Elements Versus Anisotropic Diffusion

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, EarlyView.
Bi‐cubic Hemite‐Bézier and reduced cubic Hsieh‐Clough‐Tocher finite elements, of class C1, are compared for the solution of a highly anisotropic diffusion equation. They are tested numerically for various ratios of the diffusion coefficients on different meshes, even aligned with the anisotropy.

Temporal Trends in Patient Choice of Outpatient Care Provider Among Vietnam's Insured Rural Residents, 2006–2020

open access: yesThe International Journal of Health Planning and Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Much of the existing empirical literature on patient choice of medical care provider in low‐ and middle‐income countries is cross sectional in nature. Comparatively little is known about the dynamic shifts in patient choice of provider, particular under transitions to universal health coverage. Using eight biennial waves of Vietnam's Household
