Logarithmic corrected Polynomial $f(R)$ inflation mimicking a cosmological constant

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we consider an inflationary model of $f(R)$ gravity with polynomial form plus logarithmic term. We calculate some cosmological parameters and compare our results with the Plank 2015 data.

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Polynomial asymptotic stability of damped stochastic differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2004
The paper studies the polynomial convergence of solutions of a scalar nonlinear It\^{o} stochastic differential equation\[dX(t) = -f(X(t))\,dt + \sigma(t)\,dB(t)\] where it is known, {\it a priori}, that $\lim_{t\rightarrow\infty} X(t)=0$, a.s.

New Conditions of Analysis and Synthesis for Periodic Piecewise Linear Systems With Matrix Polynomial Approach

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, new conditions of the stability, stabilization and L2-gain performance of periodic piecewise systems are proposed. Both the continuous and discontinuous Lyapunov functions with dwell-time related time-varying Lyapunov matrix polynomial are

Use of Symptomatic Drug Treatment for Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis and Patterns of Work Loss

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To describe the use of central stimulants and amantadine for fatigue in MS and evaluate a potential association with reduced work loss in people with MS. Methods We conducted a nationwide, matched, register‐based cohort study in Sweden (2006 to 2023) using national registers with prospective data collection.

Fast Stability Analysis for Proportional-Integral Controller in Interval Systems

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Engineering and Computation, 2018
The paper describes a technique for stability analysis of proportional-integral (PI) controller in linear continuous-time interval control systems. The stability conditions of Kharitonov's theorem together with related criterions, such as Routh-Hurwitz ...

Tracking Control of High Order Input Reference Using Integrals State Feedback and Coefficient Diagram Method Tuning

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The purpose of the research is tracking control to follow the input reference signal such as step, ramp, parabolic, and high order reference stably. The challenge is rising when high order input references, such as parabolic or polynomial, are used in ...

Stability Result for a Kirchhoff Beam Equation with Variable Exponent and Time Delay

open access: yesUniversal Journal of Mathematics and Applications, 2022
This paper is concerned with a stability result for a Kirchhoff beam equation with variable exponents and time delay. The exponential and polynomial stability decay are proved based on Komornik's inequality.

Symplectic Integration of Hamiltonian Systems using Polynomial Maps

open access: yes, 2001
In order to perform numerical studies of long-term stability in nonlinear Hamiltonian systems, one needs a numerical integration algorithm which is symplectic. Further, this algorithm should be fast and accurate.

Baseline Regional Cholinergic Denervation Predicts Cognitive Trajectories in Moderate Parkinson Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive decline is a disabling and variable feature of Parkinson disease (PD). While cholinergic system degeneration is linked to cognitive impairments in PD, most prior research reported cross‐sectional associations. We aimed to fill this gap by investigating whether baseline regional cerebral vesicular acetylcholine transporter ...
