ReOx/TiO2: An Efficient Catalyst for the Production of Butanediols From Erythritol in Water

A nonnoble metal heterogeneous catalyst, ReOx/TiO2, has been used for the successful valorization of erythritol into biosourced butanediols. The TiO2 support influences the formation of the various supported Re species, whose repartition has an impact on the catalytic phenomena.

Toward Larger Cyclo‐9,10‐Anthryleneparaphenylenes

During a macrocyclization with a dihydroanthracene diol as corner unit, larger oligomers than the trimer and tetramer were formed and isolated up to the nonamer.
