The Use of Polyolefins-Based Hot Melts for Wood Bonding
The shear strength of three-layer birch veneer/polyolefin/birch veneer lap joints has been investigated. It was found that the optimum technological parameters for producing three-layer laminated systems (plywood) at 180°C were a pressure time of 1-3 min

Characteristic Ratios of Model Polydienes and Polyolefins
Homogeneous anionic polymerization offers several unique advantages in the polymerization of diene monomers. Polymers prepared by this method possess extremely narrow molecular weight distributions and are free of branching.

An overview and categorization of man‐made per‐ or polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) including low‐molar‐mass and high‐molar‐mass fluorochemicals, and their international regulations is presented. Though certain PFASs are toxic, bioaccumulative and cross the human cellular membranes, others, such as fluoropolymers, are safe, reliable and involved in ...

Crosslinking of Polyolefins in the Presence of New s-Triazines
In the crosslinking of polyolefins (such as polyethylene, ethylene-propylene copolymers, and ethylene-(vinyl acetate) copolymers), multiply unsaturated s-triazines (such as triallylcyanurate (TAC), 2-alkylamino-4,6-diallyloxy-s-triazines, and the bridged

Aggregation‐induced enhanced emission for quantification of recycled content in automotive plastics
Quantifying recycled content in four automotive plastics using aggregation‐induced enhanced emission showed that performance was highly dependent on both polymer and additive chemistries. Abstract The use of plastics in the automotive industry is increasing due to their versatility, light weight and affordability.

Halogen‐free biocomposite polystyrene foams were fabricated via pilot‐scale supercritical CO2 extrusion using expandable graphite, melamine polyphosphate, biochar, and recycled polymer. The optimized formulation exhibited refined cellular morphology, enhanced flame retardancy (limiting oxygen index of 25%, rapid self‐extinguishing), and improved ...

This work reveals that glass frit chemistry governs acetic‐acid‐induced corrosion and damp‐heat stability in LAF‐processed TOPCon modules. Compared with a Pb/B‐rich frit, a Ba/Zn‐modified frit preserves the Ag–Si interface, suppresses contact‐resistance increase and improves module reliability.
