Engineering Strategies to Suppress Thermal Runaway Propagation in Lithium‐Ion Battery: Mechanisms, Metrics, Materials, and Evaluation Methods

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.
Thermal runaway propagation can transform a single‐cell failure into a system‐level hazard in lithium‐ion battery packs. This review clarifies how heat transfer, gas venting, combustion, and configuration govern cell‐to‐cell failure, and links measurable metrics, pathway‐oriented suppression materials, and experimental/modeling tools to guide safer ...

Investigation and Evaluation of Wax Deposition Treatment Methods in Large Natural Gas Plants

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 8, Page 3848-3861, August 2026.
Problem: Wax blockage (Biphenyl, PAHs) in low‐temperature units crippled plant capacity. Solution: A novel Circulating Light Hydrocarbon Injection technology. Mechanism: Light hydrocarbons disrupt wax crystals via “like dissolves like” and are continuously recovered. Outcome: 1. Throughput dropped from 10 MMscmd to 3 MMscmd 2.

Tuning the Network Structure of Crosslinked Chitosan Nanocarriers for Sustained Release of Divalent Micronutrients

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 8, August 2026.
Chitosan‐tripolyphosphate (CS‐TPP) nanoparticles are optimized via Box–Behnken design for the encapsulation of Cu2+, Fe2+, and Zn2+ micronutrients. Ionic gelation yields stable nanocarriers with sustained biphasic release, following Korsmeyer–Peppas kinetics.
