Preclinical and Toxicology Studies of LPM7100328, a Novel Oral GnRH Antagonist

open access: yesPharmacology Research &Perspectives, Volume 14, Issue 5, October 2026.
ABSTRACT LPM7100328 is a novel oral GnRH antagonist being developed for the prevention of premature luteinizing hormone (LH) surges in women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation. The studies presented herein reported assessment of safety in favor of human clinical trials.

A Trp574–Leu substitution confers resistance to three classes of acetolactate synthase inhibitors in Australian brome grass (Bromus diandrus)

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 10, Page 9437-9443, October 2026.
Target‐site based imidazolinone resistance in brome grass was found to be conferred by a mutation at position 574 in the ALS gene and to severely impact the efficacy of the herbicide Intervix®, a co‐formulation of imazamox and imazapyr. Abstract BACKGROUND Brome grass (Bromus diandrus) is a prevalent weed in southern Australian cropping regions which ...

Squills vs. Hyacinths – A revised genus delimitation in Hyacinthinae (Hyacintheae, Scilloideae, Asparagaceae) based on phylogenomics

open access: yesTAXON, Volume 75, Issue 5, October 2026.
Abstract Scilla s.l. (Asparagaceae: Scilloideae) represents a notable Mediterranean geophyte radiation, yet genus delimitation in subtribe Hyacinthinae has long suffered from inconsistent and conflicting generic concepts. A limited set of informative morphological characters and recurrent shifts in circumscription have repeatedly hindered progress ...

Upscaling Genotyping by Amplicon Sequencing With GBAS‐GUI

open access: yesMolecular Ecology Resources, Volume 26, Issue 7, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Genotyping by amplicon sequencing (GBAS) is a relatively low‐cost approach for generating genotypic data compared with established genomic methods, making it highly scalable and particularly suitable for large‐scale genetic monitoring projects.

Dietary CoQ10 Ameliorates Age‐Related Megakaryocyte Dysfunction via COPS3‐Mediated Activation of Autophagy

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
Dietary CoQ10 improves megakaryocyte maturation and polyploidization and reduces platelet hyperreactivity in naturally aged mice, while experiments in senescent Meg‐01 cells demonstrate enhanced autophagic flux and identify COPS3 as a contributing, but not, mediator.
