INDIUM/POLYPYRROLE(POLYPYRROLE DERIVATIVES) SCHOTTKY JUNCTIONS

Journal of Macromolecular Science, Part A, 2001
Samples of polypyrrole, poly(N-methyl pyrrole) and their copolymer poly(N-methyl pyrrole-pyrrole) have been prepared by electrochemical polymerization technique. Their conductivity values have been optimized for fabricating indium-polymer Schottky junctions.

Photoactive Nanostructures of Polypyrrole

ChemPhysChem, 2009
AbstractThe creation of nanostructures of the photoactive polymer polypyrrole (PPy) on glass substrates with the spin‐coating method is described. No additional post‐production treatment is necessary to obtain uniformly distributed photoactive nanostructures on macroscopically scaled substrates.

Inverted Emulsion Pathway to Polypyrrole and Polypyrrole Elastomer Composites *

Synthetic Metals, 1994
Abstract A new method is proposed for the preparation of polypyrrole and polypyrrole-elastomer composites. An inverted emulsion of water containing the oxidant (FeCl 3 ) in a solution (toluene, or a mixture of toluene and isooctane) of the host polymer (styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) triblock copolymer), or free of the host polymer, was first ...

Fabrication and electrochemical properties of flow-through polypyrrole and polypyrrole/polypyrrole nanoarrays

Chemical Papers, 2020
Flow-through polypyrrole (PPY) nanoarrays are well tailored into nanopore, nanotube-in-nanopore and nanorod-in-nanopore structures to act as free-standing supercapacitor electrodes through anodization, electro-polymerization deposition and chemical corrosion processes.

Bioerodible Polypyrrole

MRS Proceedings, 2001
ABSTRACTConductive polymers such as polypyrrole (Ppy) are potentially useful as an active interface for altering cellular processes and function. Their utilization in medically related applications however have been substantially held back by their non-degradable nature.

Impedance of polypyrrole perchlorate/polypyrrole poly(styrenesulfonate) bilayers

The Journal of Physical Chemistry, 1993
The impedance of polypyrrole perchlorate/polypyrrole poly(styrenesulfonate) bilayers on Pt electrodes as a function of the electrode potential and the relative thickness of the two layers demonstrates conclusively that the redox reaction begins in the outer layer, at the polymer/solution interface.

Highly Conductive Polypyrrole Copolymers?

Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2007
In a recent publication by Akar and co-workers (Eur. Polym. J. 2006, 42, 2361), it was claimed that bulk polypyrrole with a conductivity of 4 000 S cm -1 was obtained by a simple chemical synthesis. If reproducible, this would be a quite revolutionary result for the polymer electronics community.

Rechargeable polypyrrole/lithium cells

Synthetic Metals, 1987
Abstract Flexible polypyrrole films with good mechanical and electrical properties have been synthesized at a larger scale. In half cell experiments these films exhibit a specific capacity of 90 Ah/kg related to polypyrrole plus counterions. In a cycle life test conducted at 100% depth of discharge the capacity drops by 15% over 500 cycles.
