We applied three thiamethoxam spray treatments to buckwheat border strips: control (no nearby spray), drift (adjacent peach trees directly sprayed) and direct spray (buckwheat and peaches directly sprayed). This study addresses the question if and how climate change, with rising temperatures and increasing risks of drought events, has affected the yield of entomophilous, that is, insect‐pollinator‐dependent, crops in the past decades. We found weaker yield increases with warming.
