Embedding theorems and finiteness properties for residuated structures and substructural logics [PDF]
Thesis (Ph.D.)-University of KwaZulu-Natal, Westville, 2008.Paper 1. This paper establishes several algebraic embedding theorems, each of which asserts that a certain kind of residuated structure can be embedded into a richer one.

Equivalence of multiset-based consequence relations
The pioneering work of Blok and J\'onsson and its further development by Galatos and Tsinakis initiated an abstract study of consequence relations using the tools of module theory, where consequence relations over all types of syntactic objects are put ...

On the homological classification of pomonoids: Clifford pomonoids
Semigroup Forum, 2014The author characterizes Clifford pomonoids all of whose Rees factor \(S\)-posets satisfy property \((P_w)\), which in the row of so-called flatness properties lies between projective and po-flat. Clifford pomonoid (the author does not use this term) means a pomonoid which as a monoid is a Clifford semigroup.

Representation Extension and Amalgamation in Pomonoids
Communications in Algebra, 2011Flatness properties of acts over monoids and their connection with monoid amalgamation have been investigated for almost four decades and a substantial literature on the subject has now appeared. Analogous research, concerning the action of partially ordered monoids on partially ordered sets and its relation to pomonoid amalgamation, was begun in 1980s

On the homological classification of pomonoids by properties of cyclic S-posets
Semigroup Forum, 2013Between different so-called flatness properties of \(S\)-posets there is a property \((P_w)\) that is studied here. The author characterizes pomonoids from a subclass of completely simple semigroups with adjoined identity, all of whose cyclic (Rees factor) \(S\)-posets satisfy \((P_w)\).
