On unitary down-closed regular monomorphisms of pomonoid actions
Quaestiones Mathematicae, 2018In this paper we characterize injective objects in the category of S-posets and S-poset maps for a pomonoid S, with respect to the class of unitary down- closed embeddings. Also, the behaviour of this notion of injectivity with respect to products and coproducts is studied.

Epimorphisms, dominions and amalgamation in pomonoids
Semigroup Forum, 2014If \(f\colon S\to T\) is an epimorphism of monoids, then it is an epimorphism of pomonoids. The author shows that the converse statement also holds. That is, if \(f\colon S\to T\) is an epimorphism of pomonoids, then it is an epimorphism of monoids.
