Comportamento da laranjera 'Folha Murcha' em sete porta-enxertos no noroeste do Paraná Performance of 'Folha Murcha' orange on seven rootstocks in northwest of Parana

Novel polymorphic EST-based microsatellite marker isolation and characterization from Poncirus trifoliata (Rutaceae) [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering, 2015
Novel Poncirus trifoliata simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers were developed to evaluate their utility for genetic diversity and breeding studies of P. trifoliata and related species.

Survey of Poncirus trifoliata Hybrids for Resistance to Colonization by Asian Citrus Psyllid [PDF]

open access: yesFlorida Entomologist, 2019
Genetic traits in Poncirus trifoliata (Rutaceae) are known to confer resistance to colonization by the Asian citrus psyllid, but field surveys indicated these traits were not expressed in any of 24 simple hybrids between P. trifoliata and sweet orange. No resistance to colonization by the psyllid was observed in 14 other types of P. trifoliata hybrids.

Intermediate Inheritance with Disomic Tendency in Tetraploid Intergeneric Citrus × Poncirus Hybrids Enhances the Efficiency of Citrus Rootstock Breeding

open access: yesAgronomy, 2020
Rootstocks are crucial for the sustainability of the citrus industry worldwide. Diploid intergeneric Citrus × Poncirus hybrids have contributed considerably to citrus rootstock improvement and their tetraploid (doubled-diploid) forms are important ...

Differential expression of genes identified from Poncirus trifoliata tissue inoculated with CTV through EST analysis and in silico hybridization

open access: yesGenetics and Molecular Biology, 2007
Citrus is the most important fruit crop in Brazil and Citrus tristeza virus (CTV) is considered one of the most important pathogens of citrus. Most citrus species and varieties are susceptible to CTV infection.

Characteristic Volatile Components of Trifoliate Orange Peel ( Poncirus trifoliata ) [PDF]

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2016
The volatile components of the peel of trifoliate orange { Poncirus trifoliata (L.) Raf.}, family Rutaceae, were investigated using SAFE technique after solvent extraction. Limonene was the most abundant component in the peel aroma extract, followed by myrcene, trans-β-ocimene, indole, β-caryophyllene, (3 E,6 E)-α-farnesene, germacrene D, and β ...

Fruit quality of 'Tahiti' lime (Citrus latifolia Tanak) grafted on twelve different rootstocks Qualidade de frutos de limeira-ácida 'Tahiti' (Citrus latifolia Tanaka) enxertada em doze porta-enxertos

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Fruticultura, 2009
In the present work, the effect of twelve rootstocks on fruit quality of the nucellar clone IAC-5 of 'Tahiti' lime, (Citrus latifolia Tanaka) and the influence of fruit position on tree in fruit quality was evaluated in the Citrus Experimental Station of

Rootstock impacts on citrus flush dynamics, vegetative growth, and Diaphorina citri infestation and dispersion: Implications for huanglongbing management

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 9, Page 8795-8809, September 2026.
Dwarfing citrus rootstocks restrict flush shoot growth on the scion, thereby reducing Asian citrus psyllid infestation, dispersal, and huanglongbing (HLB) progression. These findings support the use of dwarfing rootstocks as an effective cultural strategy in integrated HLB management for citrus orchards.
