Are Age and Voided Volume Sufficient to Predict Detrusor Underactivity in Women? An External Validation Study

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Detrusor underactivity (DU) is a significant cause of female lower urinary tract symptoms. We aimed to externally validate a non‐invasive prediction model using age and voided volume (VV) in a tertiary center cohort. Methods This retrospective study included 450 consecutive women who underwent uroflowmetry and subsequently multichannel

Evolving Sacrocolpopexy Technique Trends

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Sacrocolpopexy (SCP) is widely considered the gold standard procedure for repairing apical and multi‐compartment prolapse. Moisture Absorption in Highly Porous Closed‐Cell Polymeric Foams

open access: yesPolymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.
The conventional one‐dimensional hindered diffusion model has been extended into a new Void Filling Hindered Diffusion Model. By quantifying the moisture stored within closed‐cell pores, this model successfully captures the distinct absorption behaviors observed across varying foam thicknesses.
