Experimental Evidence of Free Carrier Generation in 2D Hybrid Organic–Inorganic Perovskites
ABSTRACT Despite the significant potential of 2D hybrid organic–inorganic perovskites (2DHOIPs) for high‐efficiency optoelectronics application‐comparable to their 3D counterparts, the fundamental carrier photogeneration remains unclear. In contrast to conventional ultrafast optical property characterization, we use ultrafast photocurrent spectroscopy ...

SNP-based mixed model association of growth- and yield-related traits in popcorn.
The identification of the genes responsible for complex traits is highly promising to accelerate crop breeding, but such information is still limited for popcorn.

an overview of the MHONGOOSE survey: Observing nearby galaxies with MeerKAT [PDF]
© Copyright owned by the author(s). MHONGOOSE is a deep survey of the neutral hydrogen distribution in a representative sample of 30 nearby disk and dwarf galaxies with H I masses from ∼ 106 to ∼ 1011 M, and luminosities from MR ∼ 12 to MR ∼ −22.

Dependence of Nebular Heavy-Element Abundance on H I Content for Spiral Galaxies [PDF]
We analyze the galactic H I content and nebular log(O/H) for 60 spiral galaxies in the Moustakas et al. (2006) spectral catalog. After correcting for the mass-metallicity relationship, we show that the spirals in cluster environments show a positive ...

A Soft Robotic Fish With a Dielectric Elastomer Actuator Body and Negative Stiffness Spine
This work introduces a bio‐mimetic soft robotic fish driven by fiber‐reinforced dielectric elastomer actuators integrated as its body. By prestretching this active skin against a flexible spine, a negative stiffness system is created, enabling large‐amplitude bending.

Astrocyte Enrichment of 3D Cortical Constructs Enhances Brain Repair
This study highlights the role of astrocytes in supporting neural progenitor cell survival and differentiation after traumatic brain injury. Astrocytes enhanced neuronal differentiation, improved cell survival in co‐cultures, and promoted integration of microfluidics‐based implants with host tissue following implantation. Additionally, increased axonal
