Estimating Sunda Clouded Leopard Lifespans From Minimum Residence Times via Long‐Term Photo‐Tracking
Biotropica, Volume 58, Issue 2, March 2026.How long do Sunda clouded leopards live in the wild? Detectability challenges and transient behavior make this elusive species difficult to track. Based on compiled photographic records, we report the oldest known individual to date: a 6.51‐year‐old female and provide new insights into survival and demography of this threatened carnivore.
