Nucleosynthesis in Aspherical Explosions of Population III Stars

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2008
We present the nucleosynthetic yields of Population III core‐collapse supernovae (SNe) focusing on the cases of hyper‐energetic (Hypernovae, HNe) and hyper‐aspherical (jet‐induced) explosions. We show that (1) the explosions with large energy deposition rate, Ėdep, are observed as GRB‐HNe and their yields can explain the abundances of normal extremely ...

Nucleosynthetic Consequences of Population III Stars

1986
It is argued that the Population III stars with the most explanatory power are Very Massive Objects (VMOs) in the mass range ...

Diversity of Population III Star Formation

2019
The aim of this thesis is to improve our understanding of the fragmentation behavior of Population III protostellar disks under the influence of rotation, turbulence, and magnetic fields. We further evaluate consequences that may be inferred for the later evolution of the star-forming halo and its surroundings with respect to protostellar ejections and
