Abstract Iquitos, the most populated city in the Peruvian Amazon, is a hub in the regional supply chain of wild meat and supplies urban consumers. Studies on wild meat consumption have focused primarily on markets, limiting the scope of species considered to those that are economically valuable and potential inferences from those data.

Penetration enhancement effects of topically applied crosslinked hyaluronic acid
Cross‐linked hyaluronic acid (HA) was demonstrated to enhance the topical delivery of a variety of hydrophilic actives into the skin. This phenomenon was observed for both small molecules and macromolecules, the latter of which was analysed with MALDI mass spectrometry imaging (MALDI‐MSI).
