Triterpenes of Poria cocos

Phytochemistry, 1993
Abstract Four lanostane triterpenes and four novel 3,4- seco -lanostane triterpenes were isolated from the surface layer of Poria cocos . 3β-Hydroxylanosta-7,9(11),24-trien-21-oic acid, trametenolic acid, dehydroeburicoic acid and eburicoic acid were isolated by HPLC after treatment with N -chloromethylphthalimide. Four novel 3,4- seco -lanostanes:

Cytotoxic Lanostanoids from Poria cocos

Journal of Natural Products, 2016
Six new and 16 known lanostanoids were isolated from the sclerotia of Poria cocos. The structures of the new isolates were elucidated to be 16α-hydroxy-3-oxo-24-methyllanosta-5,7,9(11),24(31)-tetraen-21-oic acid (1), 3β,16α,29-trihydroxy-24-methyllanosta-7,9(11),24(31)-trien-21-oic acid (2), 3β,16α,30-trihydroxy-24-methyllanosta-7,9(11),24(31)-trien-21-

Triterpenoids from Poria cocos

Phytochemistry, 1991
Abstract Two new triterpenoids, poricoic acid A and B were isolated from the surface layer of Poria cocos . The structures of poricoic acid A and B were elucidated to be 16α-hyroxy-3,4-secolanosta-4(28),7,9(11),24(31)-tetraen-3,21-dioic acid, and 16α-hydroxy-3,4-secolanosta-4(28),7,9(11),24-tetraen-3,21-dioic acid, respectively.

Chemical constituents of Poria cocos

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2014
The chemical constituents of Poria cocos were studied by means of silica gel, ODS column chromatography, Sephadex LH-20 and preparative HPLC. Thirteen compounds were isolated from this plant. By analysis of the ESI-MS and NMR data, the structures of these compounds were determined as tumulosic acid (1), dehydrotumulosic acid (2), 3beta, 5alpha ...

Triterpenes of Poria obliqua

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1961
A water extract of the fungus Poria obliqua has been shown to possess tumor-inhibiting activity against two test tumors. Two triterpene alcohols were isolated from the hexane extract, one of which was identified as lanosterol. The second, named obliquol, C30H50O2, was shown to have two hydroxyl groups and two double bonds, one of which is inert to ...

Lomasomes and vesicles in Poria monticola

Canadian Journal of Botany, 1971
A study of the vesicular and tubular bodies observed in cells of Poria monticola was done with particular regard to their form, origin, and membrane structure. The membranes of lomasomes and pinocytotic vesicles display the sometimes asymmetric, distinctly trilaminar structure characteristic of the plasma membrane.
