Ultrastrong and High Thermal Insulating Porous High‐Entropy Ceramics up to 2000 °C
Advances in MaterialsHigh mechanical load‐carrying capability and thermal insulating performance are crucial to thermal‐insulation materials under extreme conditions. However, these features are often difficult to achieve simultaneously in conventional porous ceramics. Here,

Hierarchically Nanostructured Porous Functional Ceramics
Key Engineering Materials, 2007We demonstrate here a self-formation phenomenon of hierarchy with multiple-scaled porosity. Macrochanneled structures, labelled as CMI-7, with openings ranging from 0.5 to 5.0 microns and wormhole-like mesoporous walls with various ceramic compositions, such as ZrO2, TiO2, Al2O3, Y2O3, ZrO2-SiO2, ZrO2-TiO2, ZrO2-Y2O3,…, aluminosilicates ...

Porous Glass Ceramic Bioimplants
Glass and Ceramics, 2000A technology for producing porous glass ceramic implants has been developed using foam polyurethane as the burning-out forming matrix. Porous glass ceramics with pore sizes of 300 – 500 and 600 – 700 μm were obtained. Sanitary-chemical, toxicological-hygienic, and medicobiological tests were carried out.
