The Ox Lake copper-molybdenum deposit is locallized in the margin and contact zone of a Late Cretaceous granodiorite porphyry. Hazelton Group rocks, including a lower Felsic Tuff, a middle Andesitic Tuff and an upper Sandstone-SiItstone, are country rocks in the area.
