Extrahepatic Portal Vein Aneurysm

open access: yesRadiology Case Reports, 2009
Portal vein aneurysms are rare vascular abnormalities, many of which are incidentally discovered on routine imaging studies. The etiology of portal venous aneurysms is poorly understood, and the management of these lesions is debatable. We report the case of a 61-year-old woman with extrahepatic portal vein aneurysm.

Animal models of lung cancer: Phenotypic comparison of different animal models of lung cancer and their application in the study of mechanisms

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Grafts used to construct lung cancer animal models come from various sources, primarily cell lines, patient‐derived tumor tissues, and circulating tumor cells. Based on the sources of grafts and research objectives, lung cancer animal models can be categorized into several types: chemical‐induced models, orthotopic transplantation models, heterotopic ...

Delving Deep into Liver Focal Lesion Detection: A Preliminary Study [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the second most frequent cause of malignancy-related death and is one of the diseases with the highest incidence in the world. Because the liver is the only organ in the human body that is supplied by two major vessels: the hepatic artery and the portal vein, various types of malignant tumors can spread from other ...

A mouse model of lung ischemia–reperfusion injury with reversible left hilar entrapment

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
A Novel Reversible Left Hilar Entrapment Model for Mouse Lung Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury with Visual Tracheal Intubation and Live Knot Technique. Abstract Lung ischemia–reperfusion injury (LIRI), an acute lung injury syndrome triggered by lung transplantation or distal organ ischemia, has long been a difficult and hot issue in clinical research.

Dietary supplement of sodium butyrate improves the growth performance and intestinal health by targeting Wnt/β‐catenin signaling pathway in rabbits

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Dietary supplement of sodium butyrate, may relate to regulating intestinal health and thus the growth performance and meat quality of rabbits by regulating the continuous process of promoting the periodic cycle of cecal epithelial cells. Abstract Supplementation of sodium butyrate (SB) has been proved to be beneficial for improving the growth ...
