Application of an optimization model for constructing an index tracker portfolio and considering the uncertainty of model parameters by using of robust optimization approach [PDF]
index tracking is the process of developing a portfolio that reproduces the performance of an index. The tracker portfolio has relatively good diversity and low turnover and low transaction costs.

Photoelectrochemical (PEC) organic upgrading at the anode, coupled with hydrogen evolution at the cathode, presents a promising strategy for enhancing solar energy utilization while simultaneously generating value‐added chemicals. An overview of directional photoanodic conversion of organic substrates is presented, distinctively with an eye to the ...

We presented herein that propadiene can chemodivergently form either an allylic moiety or a dienylic moiety under Pd catalysis. Embedding this reactivity pattern into photocatalysis with DHP as the initial radical source and styrene derivatives as the initial acceptor leads to multi‐component allylation and dienylation.

Optimal trend-following portfolios
This paper derives an optimal portfolio that is based on trend-following signal. Building on an earlier related article, it provides a unifying theoretical setting to introduce an autocorrelation model with the covariance matrix of trends and risk premia. We specify practically relevant models for the covariance matrix of trends.

Divergent estimation error in portfolio optimization and in linear regression
The problem of estimation error in portfolio optimization is discussed, in the limit where the portfolio size N and the sample size T go to infinity such that their ratio is fixed. The estimation error strongly depends on the ratio N/T and diverges for a

Tandem Takeoff: Powering Tomorrow with Industrial‐Grade Perovskite/Silicon Solar Cells
Perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells have recently achieved certified power conversion efficiencies of 34.85%, far exceeding the Shockley‐Queisser limit for single‐junction silicon and standalone perovskite cells. This review highlights the latest advances in the design, integration, and optimization of perovskite top cells for monolithic tandem ...

Homoleptic Bismuth Alkynes: Isolable Reagents for Selective Alkynyl Radical Transfer
The first series of fully characterized homoleptic alkynyl bismuth compounds Bi(C≡CR)3 is presented. Facile homolytic Bi–C bond cleavage grants access to alkynyl radicals, which have been employed in selective C–X bond formation (X = C, B, Se, Te). This complements existing strategies for alkynyl radical generation as it proceeds under mild and purely ...
