Clausal Resolution for Modal Logics of Confluence [PDF]
We present a clausal resolution-based method for normal multimodal logics of confluence, whose Kripke semantics are based on frames characterised by appropriate instances of the Church-Rosser property. Here we restrict attention to eight families of such

Nearly Hamilton cycles in sublinear expanders and applications
Abstract We develop novel methods for constructing nearly Hamilton cycles in sublinear expanders with good regularity properties, as well as new techniques for finding such expanders in general graphs. These methods are of independent interest due to their potential for various applications to embedding problems in sparse graphs.

VO2 Oscillator Circuits Optimized for Ultrafast, 100 MHz‐Range Operation
The present study demonstrates ultrasmall (≈30 nm) VO2 Mott memristor‐based oscillators which enter the >100 MHz frequency range via device scaling and optimization of the circuit layout for high frequency operation. Time‐resolved investigation of switching dynamics along with circuit‐level and physics‐based electrothermal simulations identify physical

Imidazolium‐Based Ionic Liquids as Antifungal and Antibiofilm Agents Against Candida tropicalis
Candida sp. biofilms, particularly those formed on catheters, represent a major clinical challenge. This study evaluates ionic liquids using an experimental biofilm model, demonstrating significant antifungal activity and biofilm disruption, supporting their potential application as alternative strategies for device‐associated infection control ...

Fast Construction on a Restricted Budget
ABSTRACT We introduce a model of a controlled random graph process. In this model, the edges of the complete graph Kn$$ {K}_n $$ are ordered randomly and then revealed, one by one, to a player called Builder. He must decide, immediately and irrevocably, whether to purchase each observed edge.
