ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

Ideal Convergence of k-Positive Linear Operators
We study some ideal convergence results of k-positive linear operators defined on an appropriate subspace of the space of all analytic functions on a bounded simply connected domain in the complex plane.

New maximum principles for linear elliptic equations
We prove extensions of the estimates of Aleksandrov and Bakel$'$man for linear elliptic operators in Euclidean space $\Bbb{R}^{\it n}$ to inhomogeneous terms in $L^q$ spaces for $q < n$.

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Neural Networks as Positive Linear Operators
Basic neural network operators are interpreted as positive linear operators and the related general theory applies to them. These operators are induced by a symmetrized density function deriving from the parametrized and deformed hyperbolic tangent ...

Estimates for the Differences of Certain Positive Linear Operators
The present paper deals with estimates for differences of certain positive linear operators defined on bounded or unbounded intervals. Our approach involves Baskakov type operators, the kth order Kantorovich modification of the Baskakov operators, the ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

A Dunkl Analogue of Operators Including Two-variable Hermite polynomials
The aim of this paper is to introduce a Dunkl generalization of the operators including two variable Hermite polynomials which are defined by Krech [14](Krech, G.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Moment problems for operator polynomials
We extend Haviland's theorem on the integral representation of positive linear functionals on usual (real multivariate) polynomials to the integral representation of positive linear maps on operator polynomials mapping into the space of operators.
